In Florence, June 24th is the Feast of St. John, the patron saint of Florence. The festival coincides with the final of the local football costume, a lively medieval versionof football or soccer in Piazza Santa Croce. At 22 there are fireworks and the best place to see is definitely from the Ponte Santa Trinita, from there you can see the Ponte Vecchio in the foreground and the fireworks behind, with their spectacular playand color.
