Saracen Joust Arezzo
Visit Arezzo on the most fascinating day of the year!
On the 23rd June (and on the 2nd September 2012) you will not only get a walking tour to discover beautiful monuments but you will also live an unforgettable experience!
Piazza Grande, the main square in town, hosts an amazing game of chivalry, called Saracen Joust.
Knights on horseback, flag wavers, crossbowmen, musicians playing trumpets and drums, ladies, all wearing medieval garments, parade along the streets of Arezzo before the tournament actually starts and the knights of the four “quartieri” (town districts) show their ability to cheerful supporters.
